Learn Average Value

Introduction to Learn average value:

The average value is called the, when total of any given quantities is divided by number of quantities we get the average.

Average =(sum of given data) / (number of data)

Average is also known as mean or arithmetic mean

Average speed:

The average speed is called the ,ratio of the distance travelled during a given interval and the length of the time interval is called average speed.

Learn average value: Examples

Example: 1

If the learn average marks of three batches of 45, 48 and 55 students respectively is 60, 65, 70, then the average marks of all the students is:

Solution:

Required average=`(45*60+48*65+55*70)/(45+48+55)`

=`(2700+3120+3850) /148`

=`9670/148`

Average=65.33

Example 2: A library has an average of 480 visitors on Sundays and 200 on other days. The learn average number of company per day in a month of 31 days beginning with a Sunday is:

Solution: Because the month begin with a Sunday, to there will be five Sundays in the month

Required average =`(480*5+200*25) /31`

=`(2400+5000)/31`

=`7400/31`

Average=238.70

Example 3: A relatives consists of grandparents, parents and three grandchildren. The learn average age of the grandparents is 71 years, that of the parents is 32 years and that of the grandchildren is 8years. What is the average age of the relatives?

Solution:

Required average=`(71*2+32*2+8*3)/(2+2+3)`

=`(142+64+24)/7`

=`230/7`

Average=33 years.

Understanding Logarithm Definition is always challenging for me but thanks to all math help websites to help me out.

More examples for learn average value :

By Kumar's  opinion, his weight is greater than 55 kg but less than 64 kg. His brother does not agree with ponnusamy and he thinks that Kumar weight is greater than 75 kg but less than 82 kg. His mother vision is that his weight cannot be greater than 70 kg. If all are them are correct in their view, what is the average of different probable weights of Kumar?

Solution:

Let Kumar weight by X kg.

According to Kumar, 55 < X < 64

According to Kumar's  brother, 75 < X < 82

According to Kumar's  mother, X <= 70

The values satisfying all the above conditions are 60, 80 and 70.

Required average=`(60+70+80)/3`

=`210/3`

Average=70kg
