Product Rule

Product Rule:The product rule is a common rule for the differentiating problems where one function is multiplied by one another function.The rule follows as of the limit definition of derivative and is given byD [f ( x ) g( x )]=D[f ( x )] * g ( x )+f ( x ) * D[g ( x )].Or Leibniz notation thus,d / dx (uv) = u * dv / dx + v * du / dx
Remember the rule in the following way. Each and every time, differentiate a different function in the product and add another two terms together. In the list of all evils which follows, most problems are average and a few are somewhat challenging. In most cases, last answer to the following problems is given in the most simplified form.Let us now learn about about how many hours in a year,we usually find people calculating many things based on how many hours are there in a year example their salary, montly income, income tax etc. Hope you like the above example of product rule. Please leave your comments, if you have any doubts.
